Happy New Year! The holiday season has officially ended and now it’s time to ramp up the fashion. I know we’re all still making our New Year’s resolutions, so here’s one to add to the list – NO MORE BLACK (outfits, of course…lol). Yes, you heard me right. We have to break out of the mundane of our dreary all black wardrobes and add a pop of color. That’s why this week’s topic is entitled, “Orange is the New Black.”
Fashion is what you make it. We all want to be part of the next big thing but you can’t lose your identity in the process. Wear what makes YOU happy, not what someone tells you looks good. The worst thing to do is wear something that’s “on trend” but makes you feel insecure. Clothes should accentuate how you feel about yourself. They are the first thing people recognize when meeting you and often make a first impression before you open your mouth.
