Summer Kaleidoscope

Do you remember playing with kaleidoscopes in school? The beautiful colors used to memorize me for hours. This summer, I’m resurrecting that nostalgia by wearing bright, bold colors. Summer Fun

Don’t you just love summer? The nostalgic feeling you get on a warm night is like nothing else in the world. Aside from the beautiful weather, it’s also a great opportunity to pull out those wild colors that you wouldn’t dare wear during the fall/winter. I knew I had to get this dress as soon as I saw it at Fashion to Figure. The summer kaleidoscope of colors was simply irresistible! I love how the bright blue weaves between the fuchsia, white and orange. It reminds me of the sherbet I used to eat at my grandmother’s house growing up as a child. This Hypnotic Brushstroke Maxi Dress is truly a keeper! When I discussed the concept of patterns and prints with a few friends, some of them were nervous that it would draw too much attention to ‘unflattering’ areas of their bodies. Who cares!?! Life is too short to worry about hiding or concealing every imperfection. Contrary to what we see on social media, NOBODY is perfect. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look your best—just don’t overthink it. Ha!
